D.O.P.E. Card Holder

Description

D.O.P.E. Card Holder for corrections or other notes, suitable for scopes with diameters of 25.4mm, 30mm, 34mm, 35mm, 36mm, and other diameters, as well as for SPUHR mounting holes. Mounts onto the scope tube or onto the SPUHR mount and tilts sideways. The holder holds a blank white card (Zebra) the size of a bank card. The card is removable and can be written on with permanent marker (easily removed with alcohol, e.g., IPA) or dry-erase, or you can simply stick tape, labels, etc. on it.

Mounting to the scope tube with two screws, the one closer to the tube is used to tighten it securely on the tube, the other is used to adjust the holder's rotation force.

Mounts onto the SPUHR mount with two screws. It fits both the side of the mount and the holes on the lower rail.
Stainless steel screws (but black!), brass threaded inserts.

RING WIDTH – 12mm (can be slightly changed).

INSTALLATION:

Slide the ring onto the scope tube (it will bend without any problems, will not break or damage the tube - it is plastic), insert the second screw, remembering about the washers between the ring and the hinge of the holder, screw in the first screw (closer to the tube) and adjust the level of the holder. Tighten the first screw so that the ring does not move on the tube, adjust the rotation resistance of the holder hinge with the second screw.
Installing the hinge may be slightly problematic because the washers tend to escape, but with a little patience they will go where they need to be.
